Use account permissions to give a User the access they need to a specific budget.
Who can do this: Owner, Admin, or a User with Manage members on the account
Where: Accounts → select the account → Members
Before someone joins: permissions you grant to an invited person take effect when they join
Add or Update Access
Open Accounts and select the account.
Open Members.
Add a member, or open an existing member’s access settings.
Select the required permissions.
If the person will issue cards, set their issuance allowance and the spending-limit ceilings available in the form.
Save the changes.
Review Roles and Permissions before choosing permissions. In particular, Manage members also gives visibility of other members’ cards on that account.
See Organization Limits and Card Issuance Allowances for card-count limits and Set or Change a Card’s Spending Limits for spending controls.
Access Granted by a Role
Owners and Admins already have organization-wide access. They may appear as Granted by role.
Changing an individual account entry doesn’t remove access granted by an organization role. Use Change a Team Member’s Role when the organization role itself needs to change.
Remove Access
Open the member’s entry in the account.
Use the available access-removal control.
Review any separately assigned cards as part of the change.
To remove someone’s dashboard access to the organization, see Deactivate or Reactivate a Team Member.
Set Up Access Before Someone Joins
You can grant account permissions while a person is still invited. They take effect when the person joins the organization.
