Understand Your Account Balance

How account balances work, how to check what changed, and what to do if a balance looks wrong or is not visible.

An account holds the funds used by its linked cards and money transfers. Cards don’t hold a separate balance.

  • Where: Accounts → select an account to see its supported currencies and assets

  • Combined balance: a summary in a reporting currency — your assets aren’t exchanged into it

  • What changed: check the account’s Transactions

Read the Balances

  1. Open Accounts.

  2. Select an account to view its supported currencies and assets.

Good to know: a combined balance expressed in a reporting currency is a summary. It doesn’t mean every asset has been exchanged into that currency.

For how the account selects funds for card payments, see Set Spending Priority.

Check What Changed

Open the account’s Transactions and compare:

  • Confirmed deposits and outgoing transfers

  • Card payments and card-issuance charges

  • Exchanges and their fees

  • Pending card payments

  • Refunds and reversals

To inspect an individual operation, use Find and Review Transactions.

What to do

The balance differs from what you expected

Check that you’re looking at the correct account and currency. When comparing reports, use the same date range.

A crypto transfer you submitted isn’t in the balance

It may not be credited yet. See My Deposit Hasn’t Arrived.

Funds are reserved for a card payment

An authorization hold can reserve funds before a payment settles. See Pending Ads Card Payments and Authorization Holds.

You expect returned funds

The balance isn’t visible

Balance visibility depends on your permissions. See I Can’t See an Account or Card.
